at 8.15 in the morning on Wednesday, the Indian team will arrive, T20 World Cup safely in their kitbag, at Mumbai's international airport.
That will trigger the sort of celebrations the metro has witnessed only twice before in its -- or indeed, in Indian cricket's -- history: in 1971, when Ajit Wadekar led the side to a historic Test series win in England and in 1983, when Kapil Dev's Devils brought home the one day international World Cup.
on 24th september 2007 around 9'o clock sreesanth caught that white ball which gave India the much anticipated also i'll say much needed glory which Indians even havn't thought in their dreams just after the england tour. without any senior player our young guns went into the field and showed the world that we can't be taken for granted. we have changed a lot now ready to face any task in this game.
my heartiest congratulations to whole Indian team and also to every true Indian who cheered for india on that day. but as they say its easy to win the titles but it's difficult to keep them.
so lets see if we can behave as world champions in future or its just the old story of indian cricket where we are champions for just a night and everything is lost after that.........
